Visiting Country Day

Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten

Personal tours are available and can be scheduled by emailing the Admission Office or by calling (504) 849-3110.  All applicants to Pre-K or Kindergarten are invited for a Pre-K Playdate of Kindergarten Get Together in late January or February as part of their application process.

Our K-5 Open House is scheduled for Thursday, January 10, at 8:30 a.m.  Get more details by clicking here.  If you want to attend please reserved a spot by emailing admissions@mpcds.com.   Please indicate which grade your child is applying to in your email.

Grades 1-5

Family tours and student visits are a required part of the admission process for Grades 1-5.  Parents can schedule a private tour by calling or emailing the admission office.  Applicants spend part of a school day in the classroom at Country Day.  Times range from 8:45 until 10:30, or 8:45 through 12:45 (which includes lunch) depending on the grade to which they are applying.

Grades 6-12

If you are interested in applying to Country Day, we encourage you to come tour the school, speak with our admission staff, and schedule your child to spend a day at Country Day.  Please email Cecilia Leon-Drago or call her at (504) 849-3101 to schedule a tour and visit.
